I was employed at UWC for a 2 years fixed term contract as a peer mentor for first year students in the Faculty of Law. My previous employment has taught me to be patient, punctual, respect people, inclusivity, and most of all, it has taught me teamwork and time management. I have gained knowledge on how to work with students. I manage working under pressure and plan my work accordingly. I believe that my meticulous written and verbal abilities, alongside my mentoring and research experience, will prepare me for a role within this exciting and challenging industry.

I have been interested in Law and have completed my LLB degree in this field. During my studying, I have shadowed at Magistrate court to gain some practical knowledge as I believe that academic knowledge alone is not enough to practice in this field. I got the opportunity to be mentored by an acting Magistrate who will giving me some more practical law insight needed to pursue this teaching job.
