I am a 27 year old female that have been tutoring mathematics and physical sciences part-time for the last couple of years. I have completed my studies in chemical engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2015 where I obtained a BTech degree in chemical engineering. For the last 4 years I have worked in the mining industry, in the Northern Cape, as a plant metallurgist while tutoring students part-time. I am very patient, dedicated and always gives my best in everything that I do.

Plant Metallurgist
I work in a processing plant. We are a zinc producing company and part of my daily duties is to ensure we recover maximum zinc from the ore that is fed into the plant. I am also responsible for all the chemicals that is use to separate the zinc from unwanted metals.

BTech: Chemical Engineering - Cape Peninsula University of Technology
I successfully completed my studies in Chemical Engineering in 2015. I was funded a bursary from a mining company while studying and was offered a job directly after completing my studies. Currently I am still working at the same mining company.

I have never done tutoring for the money. This will be the first time where I will be tutoring to gain an income. All the students I have tutored before have gotten good marks and I always gotten good comments because I am so patient when I teach. I love tutoring and always wanted to become a teacher but then ended up becoming an engineer. With my experience in the mining industry, I am able to assist students to think logically and critically to enable them to actually excel in their school work and prepare them for the greater world out there.

I have a great love for science especially chemistry and enjoy teaching the subject. I would love to also share the knowledge I have in this subject with students and help them to excel in this subject. I also obtained a distinction in my matric year in physical science.
