I am a BSc Hons Graduate. I study microbiology, biochemistry with molecular biology, as well as botany. I have been tutoring life science from my university days. I have tutored biology (Life Science) to learners from Primary school to high school. I also offer a special academic writing assistance service to university students. I am also actively working in the field, as a free-lance plant physiologist. Currently, I am completing a post graduate certificate in science education. I am also available to tutor mathematics and physical science. I have been tutoring mathematics for 4 years, only to high school and primary school students. I have also tutored physical science to matric students for over 12 years. I believe that each learner must be treated as an individual. This leads me to create individual learning experiences for each of my learners. For this reason, I expect at least 4 hours of preparation time for each lesson to ensure that each learner receives the best learning opportunity possible. I am also a firm believer that every learner is capable of achieving good results. So I also observe different learners behaviour and learning styles to create a learning space that can maximise their strengths.
